My name is Suzanne and I’m the founder and owner of Bit of Hope Ranch. I would like to personally welcome you to be part of Bit of Hope Ranch. Our mission is to Rescue, Restore and Rehome, while teaching Respect, Responsibility and Reward.

Suzanne We are a non-profit organization, founded to help hurting children by allowing them to find hope and healing through relationships with God and horses. We combine children, families and horses through programs that build mind, body and spirit. While our focus is on healing the broken, we do not turn away the whole. We encourage everyone to get involved. Whether you are 9 or 90, you can help.

Bit of Hope Ranch is a place that gives horses a chance at life. This chance may be their first, second, third or last. We get all breeds of horses, from all walks of life, from all kinds of situations, in all kinds of conditions. Once the horse comes to the Ranch we team the horse with kids from the community to love on them, help train them and care for them. Sometimes the youth in our community need a second chance to get things right. Here, at the Ranch, those kids will find a safe environment in which to learn respect and responsibility. They will also likely meet a horse with a worse life story than theirs, encouraging them to know that trust and forgiveness are possible. The rewards for both horse and child are enormous.

Bit of Hope is operated by volunteers and funded, largely, by financial donations. Volunteers feed and care for the animals and keep the Ranch tidy and running smoothly. It takes many volunteers to make this program work. Inquire how you can become involved with volunteering or donating to support the mission of Bit of Hope Ranch.

Another way you can help is by enjoying one our many trail rides offered at very reasonable prices. Have a birthday for someone special coming up? Consider letting us host the party for you, your place or ours. Maybe you’re into hunting or camping. Let our horses take you into the wilderness. We offer these and other services to you, your children and family. Contact us for details.
